Press Boat?

If I find we have the bandwidth, what do you think about my providing a boat and driver to take press out to film and photograph on the water action? I cannot commit just yet, as we may need the person and boat as race committee but we can know about a week before the event. Press might want to come and cover the regatta if they get to be on the water. Another possibility is to place a person or two into the PHRF fleet as embedded reporters.

TV publicity is like pulling teeth this year, but WTXL has finally agreed to do a "pacer" (quick reference to upcoming event with some photos) later this week, but has not given me a time. They are also notifying their "Crawfordville Reporter" about the event and she is supposed to reach out to me, but you know, there's "Rock the Dock" to report on......sigh. Left another message for WCTV and blasted several of their contact emails to see if I can get them to respond. Boy do I miss Ben Kaplan right now.
