Can we get a go/no go on interest in the press boat by 5 pm today? I have the boat on standby but they need to know today.

So far, WTXL is checking to see if they can send someone for the boat and will get back to me by tomorrow. WCTV hasn't responded, but I will nudge them again today.

Please let me know if we have takers for the press boat option so I can plan accordingly. If have none, I will likely redirect that boat and skipper to race committee duties.

Should we get members of the press to sign our waiver form before going out on a boat?

Frank's address is 134 Beaty Taff Drive. There is grass behind his house (northside) where folks can park. Ronnie Epperson will be driving the boat. Ronnie is a sailor and will be able to put the press people in the right place to take pics/video while staying out of the way and not waking anyone out. Maybe 1 to 4 would be a good time for them to go out. Maybe have them plan on being out the whole 3 hours without coming back unless they can climb out at the beach.

I suggest having them get aboard at Frank Hankins’ dock which is close by. I will get his address and share it here. As to time, the PHRF boats will likely start racing around 1 pm but there will be other stuff viewable before that.

Yes, we will have a press boat. Limit to 3, maybe 4. We can arrange the when and where for them to get aboard.
